Tour To 7 Lagoons
DISCRIPTION:
The 7 Lagoons Tour at the foot of the Nevado Ausangate is a beautiful day hike, where you can visit beautiful turquoise green lagoons, part of the Vilcanota mountain range and also be close to the Ausangate and Ayangate mountains. You will enjoy the relaxing hot springs with a beautiful view of the mountains and local life.

DAY 1:
CUSCO – PACCHANTA – AUSANGATE – 7 LAGOONS:
For the 7 lagoons tour we will first pick you up directly from your hotel between 4:30 am and 5:00 am. Then we will travel in our tourist transport for approximately 3 hours to the village of Pacchanta. Here we will have breakfast. After enjoying breakfast we prepare to hike uphill until we reach our first visit to the lagoon, and then onwards.
The hike takes 5 hours each way. On the way, we will visit the different coloured lagoons, characterised by their blue, turquoise and green colour. Some of them are also large and look like natural mirrors. The lagoons to visit are: Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q’omercocha, Orqo Otorongo and China Otorongo.
On the way we will also see Andean birds, alpacas, llamas and vizcachas. After exploring the 7 lakes we will return by the same trail to the village of Pacchanta. After enjoying a delicious lunch, we will get ready to relax in the medicinal hot springs.
After enjoying the hot springs we will return to the city of Cusco, arriving in Cusco at 6:30 p.m. approximately.

- This trek covers a total distance of 10 km at high altitude. We recommend that you acclimatise in Cusco 2 or 3 days before doing the tour.
- You should bring your own backpack (25 L maximum). As you will be carrying it on your own, make sure you don’t carry anything too big or heavy.
