All persons wishing to make a reservation should read these terms and conditions, you will be asked to sign them at the pre-departure briefing.

If for any reason you arrange a NEW PASSPORT after we have purchased your permits, you must bring the original old passport along with your new passport. Otherwise, the control will refuse you entry.

ACCEPTANCE OF RISK

Some of Ali Peru Treks’ itineraries have been designed to provide participants with exposure to the true nature of the environment visited.

  • It is the responsibility of each passenger to provide true information in order to proceed with the reservations.
  • It is mandatory that the client brings with him/her the passport or travel document with which he/she made the reservation.
  • In the case of trekking and adventure tours, it is necessary for clients over 60 years of age to present a valid medical certificate. 
  • It is highly recommended to have travel insurance before leaving your country. Consult with your agent.
  • If the passenger presents the following signs: drunkenness, use of toxic substances, mental disorders. For security measures, we reserve the right to suspend the contracted service.
  • In case the client does not comply with the established itinerary and this causes delays, losses or other inconveniences, the client will be responsible for them.
  • There will be NO possibility of reimbursement when the services are in full development and on a regular basis, and the client, of his own free will, decides not to continue with them.

  • If the passenger comes with minors, he/she will have to present the necessary documents of the minor (ID card or passport of the minor, ID card or passport of the father or mother).
  • Also, if the minor is traveling with a parent or without his/her parents, it is mandatory to present a notarized letter certified and signed by the notary and by both parents (This authorization is valid for 90 days and must be submitted to the Peruvian immigration authority to allow the minor to leave the country and is valid only once). 

Down payment and payment methods:

  • To confirm the reservation of any of our services, you must make an initial payment of 30% of the total price of the requested service (this is non-refundable under any circumstances). Payment methods:
  •  Payments through our website with the following cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club.
  •  Link payments.
  •  Payments through Western Union or Money Gram agents.
  • Deposits through interbank transfer.

Commissions: All payment methods generate commissions of 5%, which vary depending on the method of payment. Therefore it is important to emphasize that it is the client who will assume the costs. 

Payment of the balance

  • The outstanding balance must be paid upon arrival in Cusco or before the start of the services and at our main office.
  •  Failure to pay the outstanding balance will make it impossible for you to participate in the contracted services (in no case will the company make any refund of the initial payment).

 Train Tickets and entrance to Machupicchu and Inca Trail 

Train tickets and entrance to Machupicchu and Inca Trail are NON refundable.

Itinerary modifications by the client

  • Any type of modification by the client generates penalties which will be assumed by the client.
  • Train tickets, entrance to Machupicchu and entrance to the Inca Trail are not allowed to be modified for any reason.
  • It is also not allowed to change the ownership of the service.

About the INCA TRAIL tours and alternative treks

  •  MODIFICATIONS: Changes of date, ownership, route and others that affect the Inca Trail, are not feasible and are not refundable in any way.
  • CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations on Inca Trail services have a penalty of 100% of the cost of the service. Therefore, if the client made the initial payment of 30%, the client must complete the payment of the remaining 70%.
  •  NO SHOW: In case the clients do not show up for the Inca Trail, no reimbursement will be made and it will be considered a NO SHOW.

Cancellations or cancellations by the client

  • In case of requesting the cancellation of any service up to 15 days before the beginning of the tour, a refund of 50% of the initial payment will be made. Therefore, if a refund is requested 14 days or less before the start of the contracted tour, NO refund or reimbursement will be made.
  •  The following services: the Inca Trail, train tickets and entrance to Machupicchu, do not apply to cancellation or refund.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

The itinerary is subject to change. Peru is still a developing country and, as such, we cannot guarantee that everything will go as planned. Forces beyond our control may force us to change the itinerary. Strikes, road blockades, landslides, flight and train cancellations, and many other things happen from time to time and there is nothing we can do to change that. We accept no responsibility for these, but promise that we will do our best to alter plans to make your trip run as smoothly as possible. Think of it as part of the adventure.

It is considered NO SHOW, in case you do not show up at your pick up time. Also in case you are not at the agreed place.

1.Cancellations, cancellations or refunds due to health problems will not be accepted if they are notified at the last minute.

2.The passenger will NOT be able to be boarded in the tour service in case he/she is drunk or intoxicated.

3.The cancellation of tours that have been paid with Visa or Master Card credit card, and if there is the possibility of a refund, the refund will be made discounting the penalty for administrative expenses and without the commission for the payment with the card.

4.If you do not contract our optional services during your purchase, the subsequent modifications are assumed by the CUSTOMER.

5.The passenger declares to know the itinerary and the program of the contracted tour. Upon purchase of the tour, the client accepts all the terms and conditions herein.

6.TRAIN TICKETS AND ENTRANCE TO THE INCA TRAIL AND MACHUPICCHU ARE NON-REFUNDABLE IN FULL, AS WELL AS CHANGES OF DATE, TITLE, ROUTE AND OTHERS THAT AFFECT THE MACHUPICCHU TRIP ARE NOT ALLOWABLE.

Cancellation:

The reservation fee of 30% of the total cost is non-refundable.

Any cancellation will be subject to a cancellation fee depending on how many days notice is given:

  • 30 – days 30%
  • 15 – days – 70% – 70% of the total cost.
  • 0-6 days – 100% – 100%.

Protection of Personal Data 

The purpose of this Law is to guarantee the fundamental right to the protection of personal data, provided for in article 2 numeral 6 of the Political Constitution of Peru, through its adequate treatment, within a framework of respect for the other fundamental rights recognized therein.

For purposes of visiting the website, and social networks, or some information about our tourist services ,you are not required to provide personal data.

However, in cases where you request to book any of our services offered, it is possible that it may require specific personal information necessary for that purpose. Such information may include name, ID number, date of birth, e-mail address and telephone number.

Ali Peru Treks. SAC reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy for the Protection of Personal Data. It is the user’s responsibility to keep informed of this policy, every time he/she uses our website. Any user may consult our Privacy Policy Notice for the Protection of Personal Data.

Responsibility. 

The customer is fully responsible for the personal data entered in the form to complete their data. Therefore, Ali Peru Treks and its suppliers are not responsible in case of errors in data entry.

The personal data provided by the user must be, under his responsibility, true, complete, accurate, current and correspond to his true identity.

Any type of damage or harm, direct or indirect, that may arise for Ali Peru Treks or third parties as a consequence of the partial or total non-compliance of the obligation referred to in the previous point, will be the only and exclusive responsibility of the user who provided the information.
