Huchuy Qosqo is a short and somewhat easy walk, ideal for those who want to trek. It is located at an altitude of 3,650 meters above sea level with views of the sacred valley and above the town of Lamay at an altitude of 2,920 meters above sea level. Day 1:
Cusco – Pucapucara – Quencco
We will pick you up from your hotel at 5:30 a.m. then we will go 30 minutes from the city of Cusco to pucapucara where you will start trekking uphill for one hour until you reach the top we will pass through Inca areas, agriculture and Andean potato cultivation Your tour guide will provide you with information about how and where the Incas came to this area and about the Spanish conquest. Arriving at the top, we find a spectacular landscape that makes your trekking more marvelous. We continue walking for one more hour until lunch, at Lake Queullococha. The landscape at the lake is quite beautiful, the whole area is a high puna between the mountains and is covered with Andean grass, Andean grass. Day 2: Quencco – Huchuyqosqo – Lamay – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes
In the morning, you will wake up with a hot tea you will have time to pack your personal things the chef of Ali Peru treks will wait for you with an incredible breakfast after enjoying breakfast we continue with the trek to the Inca site on the way we meet local people working farming children grazing sheep, llamas. After 2 hours of trekking, you will arrive at a section of the original Inca trail. The landscape changes from high mountains to a valley. This valley is a beautiful microclimate, full of lush vegetation. Many small birds can be seen, including a variety of hummingbirds that feed on the flowers. As we move forward, we can see snow-capped mountains and the river of the sacred valley. Arriving at the Huchuy Cosco Inca site you will have time to explore such as sacred temples, warehouses, Inca terraces for agriculture and an Inca reservoir used to store water in the dry season. Your guide will take you through all this, after exploring everything we head downhill for 2 hours until we reach the town of Lamay 2920 m.s.n.m. where our transport awaits us to transfer us to the town of ollantaytambo where we will have our dinner before taking the 7 pm train to aguas calientes. Once in Aguas Calientes, your guide will drop you off at your hotel.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu
Today is the most beautiful day today, we will visit machupicchu and we recommend that you wake up early to board the first bus at 5:30 a.m. Your guide will take you to take your postal photo of Machu Picchu, then you will start the guided tour of the main sectors of the citadel, for a period of 2 hours. During this guided tour, you will learn more about the history and culture of the Inca Empire. After the end of the tour, you will have time to walk on your own. Finally, you will have to return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and get ready for your train back to Ollantaytambo. From there we will transfer you back to your hotel.
