The Sacred Valley tour is one of the most popular tours in the Cusco region. In the Sacred Valley of the Incas you will find beautiful colonial towns that were created, and that today show their mestizaje in architecture, art and living culture. There are the villages of Chinchero and its weavers, Pisac and its handicraft fair, Urubamba and its cosmopolitanism, Ollantaytambo, with its fortress and its living Inca people. And Maras Moray with its dazzling salt mines, in these territories of the Sacred Valley, various communities have created rural tourism products that amaze locals and foreigners alike. Each one of them is a world in itself and together they form an unprecedented way of getting to know the most traditional region of the South American Andes.

For the Sacred Valley tour we will pick you up from your hotel around 7 am and head to Chinchero to see the first Inca ruins of the tour. In Chinchero you can see the Inca sites and the colonial temple.
Our guided tour of Chinchero lasts approximately 1 hour. Then we will visit the local market. After our visit to the market we head to Moray for another guided tour where we will go out to explore the terraces of Moray, which are believed to be an ancient Inca agricultural experiment. Next, we will head to Salineras de Maras, where we will witness first-hand the salt extraction method employed since Inca times.
Our next destination is Urubamba We will arrive there around 12:00 noon. In this impressive village, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch which is not included in the tour. After lunch we will continue with our 30 minutes tour until we reach the Inca site of our tour, known as Ollantaytambo. This Inca site was built with pink granite rocks and is another impressive example of Inca construction. Here you will see the second largest rock from the Inca period (90 tons) that was used as part of the Temple of the Sun. We will have a guided tour of the site. After exploring the Inca site of Ollantaytambo, we will drive forty-five minutes to the Inca site of Pisac. This Inca site is famous for its astronomical observatory. Its imposing constructions make it one of the important Inca jewels inherited by the Inca Pachacutec. After exploring Pisac we return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.
