Day 1:
Cusco – Km 82 – LLactapata – Ayapata

We will pick The first thing we will do in the Inca Trail service will be early pick you up directly from your hotel in Cusco or Ollantaytambo in Cusco we start the pick up at 4:30 AM and if you are staying in Ollantaytambo you can rest a little more because we will pick you up at 6:40 AM.in Ollantaytambo we will stop to enjoy breakfast for 30 minutes.

Then we head to km 82 where we start the hike, to start the hike make sure you have your original passport, as you will need it to enter the Inca Trail. We will walk for 3 hours, which will be a relatively easy hike we will, focus on visiting two archaeological sites (kanabamba) and llactapata these archaeological sites had different functions then we start a 30-minute walk to lunch point.

After lunch, we will walk for about 3 hours until we arrive at the spring camp NIGHT (AYAPATA).

In this 3 hours walk we will pass by two last communities that are very important that still maintain the Quechua language, which is an original language of the Incas, also you can buy any energy drink. We will arrive at our campsite between 5:00 PM after arriving at the campsite you will be able to relax and have a hot drink and then 7:00 PM dinner will be ready and then have a well deserved rest.

Day 2:
Ayapata – Warmiwañuska – Chaquicocha

The most challenging and longest day of the 4 days starts early the guide will have the task of waking you up early with coca tea to be able to climb the long and steep trail to warmiwañusca or the mountain of the Dead Woman. we will walk for 4 hours to the highest pass of the mountain the pass of the dead woman (4215 msnml/13825ft) when we arrive to the pass we will have a

little rest from the top of the mountain we will be able to appreciate incredible views of the mountain ranges we will appreciate the flora and fauna then we begin to descend to the next valley for an hour and a half until we arrive to (PACAYMAYO) place where we will have our lunch and we will have time to fill the water bottles after lunch we begin to climb again. for two hours walking 45 minutes we arrive to an Inca site called RUNCURACCAY where we will have time to explore after the second pass again we start to descend for one hour until we arrive to another Inca site SAYACMARCA also we will have time to explore after visiting the Inca site we will have 25 minutes walking until we arrive to our camp CHAQUICOCHA (3700 msnm) after dinner if the sky is clear we will have the opportunity to see the constellations or the southern cross.

Day 3:
Chaquiccocha – Phuyupatamarca – Wiñaywayna

It is the most beautiful and relaxing day, the hike is only 6 hours through different ecological zones. We will start early also at 6:00AM we will walk for 2 hours it is an up and down hike and we will begin to enter the edge of the jungle known as the cloud forest. On a clear day we will have the opportunity to see the mountain of Salkantay and the Vilcabamba mountain range arriving at the Inca site Phuyupatamarca we will have excellent views of the Urubamba river we will also have our first view of the mountain of Machupicchu after exploring the Inca site we will descend for 3 hours by a flight of steps to our camp on the descent we will arrive at another Inca site (INTIPATA) we will arrive at the camp at approximately 1: 00 pm then the rest of the day you can relax, after having a well-deserved rest at 4:00pm you will have the opportunity to visit another Inca site Wiñaywayna is the most spectacular Inca site on the way after Machupicchu your guide will explain the importance of the site then in the evening after dinner we organize a ceremony in order to thank them for the great work done we will rest early because the next day we will start very early.

Day 4:
Wiñaywayna – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Wake up early and hike for 2 hours to Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate (INTIPUNKU).

This last day starts at 3:30Am we will wait at the check point the hike starts at 5:30 when they open the control gate.

We will arrive at the sun gate at 6:20Am from here we will have spectacular views from where we will have a unique view of Machu Picchu and the mountains.

Then we descend for 45 minutes until we reach the citadel of Machu Picchu where we will have enough time to take pictures.

Around 8:00 am, we will leave Machu Picchu to use the restrooms and have a snack.

Then we enter Machupicchu to start our private guided tour for 2 hours after the tour you will be given the bus tickets that will take you to Aguas Calientes where you will have plenty of free time to explore the city on your own then you will have a last lunch at a local restaurant this is optional and is not included. At lunch, the guide will hand out the train ticket. The train leaves Aguas Calientes at 2:55 or 3:20 pm so be sure to be at the train station 30 minutes early. The trip takes approximately 2 hours to Ollantaytambo where the ALIPERUTREKS driver will pick you up, take you back to Cusco in our bus, and drop you off at your hotel.
